Barbara Rowe, owner of Take Good Care and Newhaven Enterprise Centre tenant, is opening her first pop-up shop in Eastbourne’s Foundry.

Take Good Care was born to to simplify the overcomplicated world of self-care, and features a carefully and fine picked range of products to help replenish your mental and physical wellbeing, from skincare products to books and candles.

Like many of us, the pandemic and lockdowns made Barbara Rowe much more aware of the importance of looking after her health and general wellbeing, and throughout the lockdown, she started increasing her self-care activities, realising that finding good quality and ethical products was time-consuming as it meant shopping around on different websites. Born to simplify the overcomplicated world of self-care, Take Good Care features a carefully sourced range of products all in one place, to take the hassle out of looking after yourself.

Barbara and Take Good Care are one of the latest retailers in Eastbourne’s Foundry  in the Beacon Shopping Centre – a new collective working and shopping space for independent stores and creatives.

Foundry aims to create flexible, affordable, professional, and vibrant mixed-use venues to give entrepreneurs space to think differently. The curated work-play spaces are in geographies that haven’t previously been well served by local, modern working spaces. The Foundry in Eastbourne is the first of what is to eventually be a chain of spaces, with Poole and Walthamstow soon to follow.

All of the team at Newhaven Enterprise Centre and the Let’s do Business Group wish Barbara and Take Good Care the best of luck with the new store, and no doubt will be popping in to check out the store!
