Comprising eight sites,
Newhaven Enterprise Zone covers approximately 79 hectares, supporting the region’s expanding high-growth businesses who also benefit from excellent access to domestic and international markets.

Regeneration

Shortlisted for multi-million pound funds to revitalise the town centre, Newhaven is a town that’s going places.

Lewes District Council’s ambitious regeneration plans for the town make Newhaven an exciting location for new businesses. Following the designation of Newhaven as an Enterprise Zone in 2017 and £30 million of investment, Newhaven has been shortlisted for the next round of a £675 million Future High Streets Fund and the opportunity to secure further funding of up to £25 million from the Government’s Towns Fund.

Collectively these projects are set to transform Newhaven for the future. The needs of residents and businesses, and the communities in the town are at the heart of Newhaven’s regeneration plans. Large brownfield sites situated close to the port, town centre and waterfront sites provide the town with substantial physical capacity for growth.
