Now based at Newhaven Enterprise Centre, his handmade furniture business has grown steadily, supported by a welcoming business community, dedicated workshop space and grant funding through the Newhaven Enterprise Zone's Low Carbon Investment Fund.

On October 27, 2023, the Newhaven Enterprise Centre hosted its annual pumpkin carving competition, featuring creative entries from tenants and Newhaven Chamber members. Local children from Denton Island Nursery served as judges, awarding prizes donated by Newhaven High Street businesses.

Newhaven Enterprise Centre has upgraded its communal lighting to energy-efficient LED fixtures with support from LED-UK and a £5,000 grant from the LoCASE programme. These improvements are expected to reduce annual energy costs by up to £11,000 and accelerate the centre's journey toward Net Zero.
