Pumpkin Carving Competition 2022

On October 29th our Enterprise Centre and tenants had a fantastic visit from Emily Wright from Locate East Sussex, who provided an insight to the various support initiatives available to businesses in the county and how an impartial and independent view can help you identify your business goals, objectives, and future plans for your business.

We celebrated her visit in true Halloween spirit, by having a pumpkin carving competition amongst our tenants and staff!

For one of our tenants, a supplier of medical consumables and equipment that was established in 1988, the pandemic brought about massive change to demand for their business. Before relocating to the Centre, the business had been running out of a residential property – but this had been tight and there was no room to grow. Due to the nature of the business combined with the COVID19 pandemic, the business needed to stock more lines and have the space to increase volumes of their supply as well as have more flexibility with suppliers and ordering, and Newhaven Enterprise Centre was a great option - meeting all of the tenants business needs for access, security and workspace flexibility.

Although this tenant had only relocated to the Centre 6 months ago, he only had positive things to say about the process.

The competition was fierce, but Emily awarded tenants Foyne Jones with the 1st prize.
